Welcome to the “Let’s Read, Altadena!” Adult Literacy Program online training!

This online training module consists of 9 sections listed below. This training will cover the basics of becoming an adult literacy tutor in our library program. This training should take about 4 to 5 hours to complete.

Click the links below to open each section, starting with Section 1. A new page will open for each section. At the bottom of each section you will enter your name before starting a short quiz. Keep track of which sections you have completed. You can retake a section more than once, but you only need to do it once.

You will have 2 weeks to complete your online training from the date you are given this link. Take notes as you read through each section since there is information you can use as you tutor your learner in the near future.

The literacy coordinator will contact you once you have completed your training. You can revisit this page at anytime to click any of the training sections listed below.
