Tuesday: 2 - 5pm
Wednesday: 10am - 1pm
Saturday: 10am - 4pm

The Fab Lab is a DIY space.
The Fab Lab is a space for learning, creativity, and community. We are learning together. Share your work and support your fellow Lab Members!
Supplies are limited and this is a shared space.
Guidelines, Membership & Equipment

You must have an Altadena Library District card in good standing to become a Fab Lab member. You must become a member in order to use the Fab Lab.
To become a member, drop in during Fab Lab open hours to complete an orientation.
To work independently and reserve sessions you must be over 13 or older.
Persons under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or other caregiver at all times.

Make appointments by filling out the form below.
Sessions are 1 hour long and must be scheduled during regular Fab Lab hours.
Only 1 booking per patron is accepted per day.
Walk-ins accepted on a first-come-first served basis and are not guaranteed.
Fab Lab Members must sign in and out for their sessions.

Tools and raw materials must stay in the lab. You can take home finished or in-progress works, but not extra material.
Staff can help you get started but cannot provide extensive 1-on-1 training.
Supplies are limited and this is a shared space, so please be mindful.
Keep Fab Lab staff informed if something isn’t working.
Check with staff when bringing in outside materials, to ensure the materials are suitable for our equipment.
Follow posted guidelines for each machine.
Cleanup period starts 15 minutes before closure.

Fab Lab Members must acquaint themselves with the correct usage of all equipment and work cautiously with objects that may have fast moving parts, sharp edges, or high temperatures.
Fab Lab Members must agree to follow all staff instructions and posted policies and accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur while using the lab.
Safety glasses, gloves, masks, and first aid kit are available.
There is a maximum occupancy limit of 8 people. If the Fab Lab reaches this limit, members may be asked to exit if their time is up or asked to come back later.
