Welcome to our mid-century modern library that serves Altadena and surrounding areas with online technology, books for all levels, movies, music, special collections, computers, meeting space, educational programs, and community-building events (like concerts)!

No. The Altadena Library District has a branch library, the Bob Lucas Memorial Library and Literacy Center, and a satellite location at Loma Alta Park.

During the Main renovation, the passport office has been relocated.

Materials checked out from any Altadena Library location may be returned at any location not closed for renovation. We do not accept items from Pasadena libraries.

The Main Library is currently closed for renovation, but we can place books on hold for you from either our branch or satellite location. It takes approximately 24 business hours to transfer items.

Once Main opens after renovation, it will offer printing, copying, and faxing. In the meantime, you can visit our other locations for these services.
