Community Requests

At this time, we are prioritizing library programs, community groups, non-profits, and local and state government use of our space. All other requests will be declined.

If you are looking to work with or partner with us, please fill out the community request form below. You are invited to use the form if you are:

A presenter—an individual, group, or organization—interested in pitching a public program (event) for the library to host and co-sponsor. Co-sponsorship means that the library will host the program at our facilities and may share program details through our promotion channels. Programs may include:

  • performances

  • talks/lectures

  • workshop/classes

  • other activities for the public

Asking for the Library to attend and provide outreach at community event. This is for individuals, groups, or organizations hosting a public community event that would like the library to provide outreach services at the event. Outreach services include tabling or attendance with one of the District’s two mobile library units.

Community requests are accepted up to 60 days in advance. Due to the volume of requests, we will need up to seven (7) business days to review your submission. We will be in touch with the status of your request once all of the appropriate staff members have reviewed. Thank you for your interest in the Altadena Library.
