Classroom & Study Room Guidelines
Maximum classroom occupancy: 8; maximum study room occupancy: 2
No food is allowed.
Covered drinks ARE allowed.
All personal belongings and trash must be cleared from the room prior to departure.
Please vacate the room 15 minutes before the library closes.
Room lights must remain on, and the door must remain unlocked.
Individuals/groups should be in the room during their reserved time; departure to use the restroom or acquire a study aid is allowed.
Individuals/groups using the room are responsible for any damages.
Loud noise and disruptive behavior will result in immediate loss of privileges to use the Study Room. Library staff members have the authority to ask individuals/groups to leave for inappropriate behavior.
Altadena Library is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
Reserving Classroom or Study Room
Reservations are available during library operating hours and are first come, first served.
Reservations are for one (1) hour for groups/individuals. Time may be extended for an additional hour if no one is waiting for the room.
Reservations are held for 15 minutes; after this time the hold is released.
Only one (1) reservation per day β for an individual or any member of a group using the room.
Reservations are made in person at the Information Desk.
Individuals must be in the 6th grade (or older) to reserve the room.
Individuals/group members will need to check out the room key using an Altadena Library card. If they do not have a library card, a valid I.D. will be held and returned once the session is over.
