Join us for a visual exhibit of Women’s Liberation Movement ephemera, posters, books, and documents that will be on display for Women’s History Month.

This exhibit is composed of Women’s Liberation Movement posters, buttons, documents, and self published pamphlets. It is from the personal collection of Altadena resident and Pasadena Unified School District Trustee Jennifer Hall Lee and runs from February 25 to April 15.

The exhibit runs in tandem with the Pasadena Unified School District Women’s History Month, which culminates in an assembly for all PUSD middle and high schools. This year the live (and live streamed) assembly will take place at Marshall Fundamental School on Wednesday, March 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. Student participants write essays or create artwork. The assembly is focused on the U.S. Women’s Liberation Movement. Hillary Rodham Clinton is keynoting the 5th annual assembly with a pre-recorded a personal message to PUSD students.

Speakers at the event will include Congressmember Judy Chu, Pasadena City Councilmember  Felicia Williams, Altadena Town Councilmember Dr. Sandra E Thomas, PUSD Superintendent Dr. Brian McDonald and PUSD Chief Academic Officer Dr. Elizabeth Blanco.
