Library of Things
With your Altadena Library card, you have access to much more than just books! The following items are available to library cardholders with Good Neighbor account status (cardholder for more than 21 days, no outstanding fees, and a history of returning materials) and can be checked out for 7 days with up to two renewals. Hotspots are available for checkout for up to 21 days.

Need remote access to a computer for your next project? The Library of Things carries several types of laptops with several options of the operating system – Windows and Chromebooks – that are available for checkout.
WI-FI HOTSPOTS
Access the Internet from anywhere with our Wi-Fi hotspots powered by Sprint! With these hotspots, you can access Sprint’s 4G LTE network and unlimited data usage for your computer, mobile device, or tablet.
OCULUS QUEST VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSETS
Step into a brand new world with the immersive Oculus Quest virtual reality headsets! Our headsets come equipped with thrilling games and apps like Fruit Ninja and the Star Wars Vader Immortal series. Explore and create natural worlds in the meditative app called Naturescapes, or explore Machu Picchu and other wonders of the world with the National Geographic app. The possibilities are endless in the world of virtual reality.
STARBLAST TELESCOPE
Have you ever wondered what planets you can see from your own backyard? Now you can find out with a take-home Orion 10015 StarBlast 4.5 Astro Reflector Telescope from your local library.
