There are many ways to support Altadena Library District, and one of the most impactful ways is to make a financial gift to one (or more) of our support organizations, the Altadena Library Foundation and Friends of the Altadena Library.
Altadena Library Foundation
Mission: To support and enrich the facilities and services of the Altadena Library District through fundraising and advocacy
Giving Tuesday: To address the mobility needs in Altadena, the Altadena Library District is in the early phases of developing an interactive, outdoor learning environment and garden that wraps around the entirety of its Main Library building. This innovative space will greatly increase the Library's capacity to provide outdoor learning experiences for children and teens, a variety of outdoor programming for adults, and serene reading spots surrounded by indigenous flora for patrons and passersby of all ages. Since 2017 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Main Library, we would love it if you would make a donation of $50 (or more!) this Giving Tuesday, November 28th.
The Altadena Library Foundation was incorporated on October 7, 2009. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Tax ID # 27-0999622.
Friends of the Altadena Library (FOAL)
