The Library District’s Main Data Frame is getting an upgrade. Throughout the week starting September 17, the Main Library will undergo a technological reconfiguration to better fit the Main Data Frame to the layout of the historical Main Library building. Adhering to best practices of proper infrastructure maintenance, this move will result in improved data security and space saving in staff areas. It will also extend the lifespan of the equipment, allowing the District to steward taxpayer dollars in years to come.
During this period, we appreciate your patience and understanding as the following systems may experience intermittent connectivity and down time:
- Phones Answering at Main Library
- Public printing
- Library staff emails
- WiFi speed
- Remote 3D Printing
There may also be a sporadic, light drilling noise around the Main Library while our workers move the physical equipment.
We appreciate your patience during this upgrade!
