Summer Reading ClubCatch the Reading Bug! June 20th through August 1st Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, children of all ages and reading abilities are invited to join this year’s FREE Summer Reading Club. The purpose of this program is to encourage children to get in the habit of reading every day and to spark in them a life-long love of reading and learning. Participation in this program can also help children retain their language skills through the summer. Here’s how it works:
Scott Land MarionettesFast paced musical variety show with hand made professional marionettes. Join us for a wonderful performance of marionettes, artistic music, and a behind-the-scenes presentation on how the marionettes are created. Teddy Bear Story TimeJoin us Mondays at 7:00 p.m. for bedtime stories and a snack! Children are encouraged to wear their PJ's and bring a plush toy. For special events and activities visit our events calendar. Preschool Story TimeJoin us Wednesdays or Thrusdays at 11:00 a.m. for engrossing stories, crafts, fingerplays, snacks and our musical parade!
